In connection with the implementation of the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR"), Statistics Poland hereby informs about the rules and about your rights related to the processing of personal data by Statistics Poland.
The Administrator of your personal data is the President of Statistics Poland who has his registered office in Warsaw (00-925 Warsaw) at Aleja Niepodległości 208 – hereinafter referred to as "the Administrator".

Only processing matters concerning your personal data should be addressed to the administrator, including implementation of your rights resulting from the GDPR.
Purposes and legal basis of the processing of your personal data
Your personal data in the scope: name, surname, e-mail address, organisation name, position in organisation, phone number will be processed for the purpose of participation in the Workshop on the Use of Admin Data for LMI Statistics (further called LMI Workshop) which is organized by the Statistics Poland on 6 – 7 of May 2019 in Warsaw. Your personal data will be processed on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 point a of GDPR, i.e. the person, who the data concern, has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.
Source of collection of personal data
Your personal data has been collected directly from you and will not be used for any other purpose than to enable you to participate in the LMI Workshop and with accordance with your consents given in the registration form.
Voluntariness/obligation to communicate personal data
The provision of personal data by you is voluntary.
To the extent that your personal data is collected directly from you, failure to provide the data indicated in the registration form will make it impossible to allow you participation in the LMI Workshop.
Information on the recipients of your personal data
In connection with the processing of your personal data for the purposes set out in item III, your personal data will be shared with authorized staff of Statistics Poland and the company which protects Statistics Poland premises. Moreover the data will be shared with other participants of the LMI Workshop if you gave your consent to it in the registration form.
Periods of processing of personal data
Your personal data will be processed no longer than for the period necessary for organisation and completion of the LMI Workshop or until the withdrawal of your consent to their processing by sending it at firstname.lastname@example.org
After the period referred to in paragraph 1, for archival purposes in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 14 July 1983 on national archival resources and archives(O.J. of 2019, item 553.) .
Profiling and automated decision making
The data you provide will not be profiled and will not be the basis for an automated decision determining your right to share the data.
Rights of the person whose the data concern
Statistics Poland wishes to assure you that all persons whose personal data are processed are entitled to appropriate rights resulting from the provisions of the GDPR. You therefore have the following rights:
of access to personal data, including the right to obtain a copy of such data;
of rectification of personal data;
of the deletion of personal data;
of restriction of personal data processing;
of transfer personal data;
of withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.
Right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data
To the extent that you have given your consent to the processing of personal data, you have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data. Withdrawal of consent will make it impossible to allow you participation in the LMI Workshop and shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of the consent prior to the withdrawal.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
In case you consider that the processing of personal data by the Administrator violates the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
During the two day workshop certain parts may be photographed, recorded. When registering for the workshop you are also giving permission to be photographed, recorded. These photography will be used for public display on the website after the workshop. Delegates who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should advise the Organiser in writing, prior to the workshop, via email at WorkshopLMI@stat.gov.pl.
